RE:Toyota new engine that will destroy EVsCar performs electrolyis on water input, producing hydrigen and oxygen. Then runs on hydrogen. Won't eletrolyiss use more energy than produced from the hyrodgen? Is there a credible source for it working, such as Toyota itself?.
This reminds me of the joke meme of someone plugging tinto the in car power outlet ("cigarete lighter") of an EV, and connecting it into the vehcile's recharging port, and then never having to recharge from an external electricity source. Of course, the cycle from power produced by the motor to powerr outlet to recharging port is not 100% efficient, not to mention a portion of the energy which is "lost" because it is used to propel the vehicle.
