ucore keeps punting on deadlines. DOD is now q3, which probably mean yr end if we are lucky. CDN will then move from q1 2025 to probably yr end 2025
are we getting funding from either before trials? Not likely or at least not enough to dent SMC build. OEMs when silent. Why? Because EVs are gonna be stalled out for the next yr or two until infrastructure buildout catches up enough? That may not happen either. Been nearly 1.5 yrs since the esteemed Mark M said " advanced talks" with 6 OEMs
so how can SMC get built? From us? Ucore has showed it will dilute. LA is waiting on them.
my guess is SMC in 2026 if we get funding, probably late 2026
