Mickey,
I have TD and Fidelity. I investigated why Fidelity is charging $50 and TD is not per trade.
Apparently their is some sort of clearing house...I think I remember it was called btc. Fidelity does not use it whereas it appears TD does. The $50 is the brokerage charge at Fidelity for this reason.
