If lynas shuts down in July, even if it is only for three to six months. That shows the weakness in Lynas supply chain. It also apply more political pressure to get a 100% separation plant going in north America. I remember an article 2013 about China saying they were going to stop selling REEs outside of China in 2023. What happen to the world if China stopped selling REEs the same time Lynas has to shut down. Bad, very bad for the world. Would the US and Canadian government be at Ucore door with a lot of money? Any time you shut down REE supply chains anywhere government are going to notice and react.
