What I said about MP

All, let's focus on news and potentials...not here to bash anyone on this board. We are investors, regardless rather you invested in Ucore or other REE companies, I wish all make money, that is what we are here for... Let's just exchange news...thoughts and opinions... here is an artcle on MP.

I said it before, MP getting funded is a big mistake, so this article seems to agreed. For those who invested, I hope I am wrong...I want everyone to make money, because you making money doesn't take money from me, so why not...we are all little investors...so we should support each other.

even more befuddling is why the investors came in to buy MP ( in a SPAC/reverse merger) Its not like mountain pass is ready to just turn on, they have to retrofit a bunch of stuff might be another few hundred million DOD initial investment is suppose to be small They shouldve just bankrolled a UCORE, TMRC or REEMF Better potential than MOLYI understand Lynas and Blueline, they have run it from ...more

Correct, my opinion only...I think MP is taking advantage of this situation to move their company ahead...I bet once they get $$$, they will divert and fund some of their other projects (unrelated to REE) - NO FACTs, my opinion only and I see that alot from other companies. The small amount of $$$ invested into MP would be significant for Ucore, TRMC or REEMF...but they choose size over small ...more

MP is a name everyone is familiar with ..period. It is LREE and will never be lucrative! Washington never has been smart when it comes to spending. We need HREE and hopefully someone will educate those with the purse strings!

Asdomke I agree. What I am not grasping is DOD has had 10 yrs since last REE boom/bust to figure things out. China will contnue to eat N america lunch if they havent learned anything in the last decade. Lynas makes sense for ST heavies, just becuase they have been there as far as production. But true supply chain?  need Ucore or the others   or a few of them   plus magnets ...more

I agree also, hence the Bokan mine might be an advantage for Ucore. Bokan will still be years away, but Ucore should leverage it to the fullest...get both Fed and State fund and move forward... and continue to focus on separation facilities...

Well, I think the biggest problem\weakness that the US has in this respect is that there is this inate belief that only corporate america can solve issues and that the gov should stay out. Unfortunately, corporate america's goal is not to solve strategic problems, but to make money. The US government took humans to the moon in the 1960s, but it took almost 50 years for corporate america to ...more

I think DoD has two phases approach, 1st to fund the companies that has some assets to take care of short-term as they know any new mines takes time to get approval. The 2nd phase is to fund the smaller more specific focus companies for mid to long-term, I believe its coming, I do believe ucore has a small chance for some fund. Why? Alaska is supporting it with the $145M, so a little $$ from DoD ...more
