Today's Lynas News (Aug 16/Aug 17 in Sydney)

Company seems to be the topic of significant discussion on the board.  Guess Aweshucks, a Lynas pumper and Ucore basher, now is one of the boyz.  How lonely must shareholds be to carry on a continuous discussion with a pretentious and persistent basher?  For sure today's news will be spun as a great accomplishment.  Although he as an American and will not be able to participate.  Is it possible for a company to have a trillion shares?

Joey ausheds seems to think 1/2 to 3/4 from JOBMEC funding wouldn't that be somewhat of a positve agreed that sure is a hecka a lot of f7nding and it doesn't even include the heavie plant in the future ( or blue line jv) but someone has to build out this stuff lynas has a more diverse deposit than MP Ly as has people who know how the run it Liftons big issue with new molycorpse 2.0 is they ...more

I said this before...2, 3 or 4 years from now for REE Industry can change alot...Thye can built all that infrastructure...if Biden win's China is back onboard and the REE industry will be back to China domination. Even if Trump wins, if China decided to stop stirring the pot, they can still continue to sell the minerals at cheap price to stop future competition...think about this, if I am say ...more

You might be right on China cutting prices with Trump but Trump started this METALS act and if he gets elected he will compensate Tesla to buy US. Trump wants no reliance on China.

I would be surprised if USA backslides on trying to get multiple REE supply chains going . May take all decade but money is coming in    I would expect next yr the funding to be much higher if budget passes as is.

Tesla doesn't buy REO, they buy Chinese magnets already installed in motor components. For US RE to be successful it is NOT going to take massive amounts of subsidy or tax credits, simply a tariff on Chinese NdFeB and components with NdFeB to level the playing field from Chinese State subsidies. With the Dragon's claws firmly in Shanghai Musk will do as he's told, US OEM's ...more

I use Tesla as an example of a end user...regardless if Tesla buy magnets instead of REE minerals...(which i still say they do for their battery factory). The Magnet manufacturers will always look for the cheapest REE minerals...why pay more, it is that simple. Yes, Trump will continue to invest in the REE Industry to build the infrastructure...He expect the infrastructure to be innovative enough ...more

Do try and get a few facts right Joey, this raise will add ~185M shares to the 715M shares currently on issue = 900M backed by 10,500tpa NdPr which pretty much locks all but incremental players out of ROW mkt most of this decade. Invested LYC so I'll receive ~250k rights @$2.30, definitely exercise half, not sure what I'll be able to do in pension plan, and I'm not American. But what ...more
