Got me to thinking. How can Ucore run a parallel SX with RSX comparison due to foot print size. To get a real comparison would the SX system not need to be substantially larger? Which then got me to think further, since North America needs RE separation and if the RSX doesn't meet the 3X prediction performance, perhaps Ucore is going to compare a standard SX comparion that has been dummied down to accomodate a smaller footprint that may be considered "GREEN" . I believe there is more to this comparison than what we may think it is, other than the obvious. If RSX is a "bust" this will give Ucore an out so all may not be lost. Just throwing it out there to chew on. I mean why to to the massive expense of a comparison other than what I mentioned above, financially it doesnt square in my mind.

If all ucore has is basically another SX system than what would be the point here? they would bring nothing to to table, compared to a MP or lynas in the states. RSX or bust. bokan is worthless or it pays off RJ and we have nothing left. right now market doesn't seem at all interested. But if one OEM steps up with first 10 million, it's a start we need around 40 million from other

Pip why go through the semantics and more importantly costs to do a comparison. There has to be something there. We are not getting the entire story

Rod I agree with re: why do a comparison if don't don't expect to beat CSX by a wide margin its the feds and the OEMs who have to be impressed, not us. that's who is gonna fund this, along with possibly LA to some extent

Bob you may have beaten the Boyd Davis stuff into as more than I have with dilution and lack of funding for the entirety  we get the point bottom line.  Ucore is doing a comparison RSX vs SX.  If someone likes it enough to fund it and reasonably decent terms, that works for me let those people figure out cost benefit  if no one steps up for funding ( aidea sure hasn't

Hey Bob, The answer to you question as to why Dr Davis did not say anything about RSX being faster, cheaper and greener is in the that PR you posted if you had bother to read the whole thing and not just cherry a negative quote to harp about.  The PR was about what the upgrades to the Demo plant and not about what RSX could do.  Dr Davis did not talk about RSX, he just posted a link in

Dragon, I provided the entire quote of Boyd Davis in July12 PR. The April 27 PR has no quote by Davis, only statements of Ucore managements' summary of independent results.Think what you want. It looks to me likein the Jul 12 PR,  Davis did not put his name behind whatever cost savings Ryan/MacDonald tried to claim. I doubt that just slipped the mind of Davis/Ryan/MacDonald.Maybe Davis

So why are they doing a side by side vs csx? just to see what exactly?  Greener?    Not cheaper?    They aren't getting funding if capex isn't a lot cheaper now if it's 40% or 60%, that's what the tests are for but just somewhat greener ( it's still Sx) will get them no where there won't be any pivot.  They can't cause it won't
