Vicinity Motor Corp. is a Canada-based supplier of electric vehicles for both public and commercial enterprise use. RE:RE:RE:A friendly wager.....As all US orders must be funneled through ABG (Alliance Bus Group) they can very much so control the news of smaller orders. Last time they held back several small orders from the markets and then just came out and said (all at once) that ABG is ordering 100 buses on behalf of their regional clients (who all remained unnamed). So, can they make a big announcement? Sure. It's been done. The question is, "Will they?" We'll see. I've lost a bit of confidence in these guys....I will say that. The number of announced sales this year were underwhelming by almost any metric. We've heard the budgeting cycle for municipalities was Q4, then Q1 (typically) and now we're mid-Q2 and nothing to write home about. I'm still hopeful, but.....the proof will be in the pudding.
