I've lost count on how many days VRB has been halted

Explman used to count the days and post every day on the halt. I miss that.

Last I heard, A new accounting firm, (Smythe) was hired to audit and file their financials.
AB wasn't sure how long they'd take because they've never worked with VRB. That was roughly 3rd week of June.

At least a firm is auditing them now.
This Mickey mouse fiasco should be over soon.

Gotta comment on this one.....Remember, auditors are appointed at each AGM by the shareholders. It is a non-trivial matter to simply "change auditors" as management did not appoint them, the shareholders did through their proxy vote. There is only one reason to change auditors, and that is that management does not like the answers they are getting from the auditor. There is a dispute and ...more

rixpix,I don't know where Smythe as auditors came from or if it's true they are now the auditors but I worked for a large engineering firm that hired a company of that name to do foreign income tax for our employees for years so I think Smythe should be solid.As you state the auditors are normally appointed at the agm but I don't know under what circumstances the company can change the ...more
