Property

I've heard there has been a property acquisition recently. I searched the Steven's County Recorder and the Addy hasn't sold so it must be something related to the pilot plant. Maybe the 2 new hires are working on the physical build out of the property tied to the pilot. I also heard there was a total of 3 properties being negotiated on. Something about a turn key site, pilot plant, and a rehab site. I'm assuming the rehab site would be addy due to the old infrastructure. I'm kinda curious if anyone has heard of this third site idea floating around chat rooms that would be turn key. I had one of my clients that was a finance person for major investment firms do an in depth analysis of Western Mag. He says our stock should be around $.30-$.40 per share right now. If the company has actual end product, metal produced, by the end of the year; we should be between $1-$2 per share. I'll be excited to finally see the company move forward with some positive potential. We have been held down for way too long.

This could be what the $150,000 convertible note is about. Seeing as how sam has said they have enough cash on hand to cover expenses until next spring this seems like a unforeseen expense. The terms of the convertible note are great if this stock is 1 or 2 dollars by next summer.
Comment by StockJockie on Jul 28, 2020 2:12pm
OK, I'm officially going after Sam as CEO. Why do you approve a private placement in the form of a convertible note. 12% interest and $.05/ share once it hits it's 1 year term. That's almost 1/3 of the retail price on the open market and is way lower than the current open private placement. $0.13/$0.19 is the current gathering by the IR team. Why would you devalue the company this bad ...more

SJ, its 0.05c or market value. Whichever is higher, meaning if the shares reach 1$ it is a much better offer than a private placement. This type of note is common it tech startups.

Long you are exactly correct.  In fact if you look into it you will find that it is exactly how it's worded in exchange policies word for word.  I am not sure it's better than the private placement because if the share price appreciates your price is locked in on private placement but on this debenture it is at what ever the price is a year from now.  Plus in the private ...more

Gem, I think if anything this shows that investors are starting to take this company more seriously. If they had to do a private placement we would be looking at approximately 1 million share dilution with as many warrants. With this it's impossible to say but let's dream and say the shares worth $2 then we are looking to less than 100k share dilution. To me this is an uplifting sign, I ...more

SJ you need to calm down. I know you are frustrated and so are some others. You also need to read the offer again and you will see you red it wrong.

Property: valid points I think but put that aside, what in the world is western magnesium going to do with 150,000 ? It seems to me the next steps are going to require large amounts of money, so what's the point of 150,000 where does it take the company what does it get them?

Possibly kept the lights on and or the roku/hulu/etc subscriptions good till September. Hopefully, something will come out positive. BTW, I have Mega tickets and PB for rest of week. We all might need to make the cookie jars larger. Time still left. Just read the latest Covid symptoms release ranked according to seriousness. Never saw "head itching" listed. No doubt this is a head ...more

I don't know if you remember me telling you about the 5 cent offer coming but I did? They have a pile of rights offering @ 5-8 cents? Thats when you know it's time to go. I don't know why you guys are all hung up on this one. Allience magnesium is already breaking ground on their commercial sight in Canada. The great thing about it is the government  is helping finance it. Its in ...more

Cbalardo, that's because you are wrong. Their is no 5c offering, can you not read terms? 5c hasn't been a offering for awhile. In my opinion this money is for the down payment on a property. 10% or 5% on a land deal. Sam said they have enough operational cash for a year, he cannot simply lie. This expense is outside of the operating margin.

I read it in 2019 millions at 5 cents with 15 million warrants exercisable at 8 cents for two years. I'm just saying this could end up being a pipe dream. I have seen in this type of investment before in the same sectors with pilot projects! Same bull #$&*.  Creso resources and Dundee sustainable  years back same story. You think you own part of this technology being a share ...more

What you read in 2019 has nothing to do with this latest fund raising. Trying to twist the two together is deceptive. I think you should invest in your pipe dreams and find some other site to bash. Name a few of these types of investments that you are talking about.
Comment by CBalardo on Jul 30, 2020 11:05am
Was not trying to bash came here to invest, but after working it all out it seems to me things are getting fishy and I have seen this before many times. I don't need to bash it I came down all on its own? If I wanted shares that bad I would just lend Sam couple 100 grand ! their looking for cash you don't need to try and snatch them from share holders? I'm just here cause I like ...more

And most investors from the lower mainland look at this is a typical mining play. It's a technology stock, breaking brand new ground. So if you're looking for somethingTo make or lose money quickly, look elsewhere. The small volume relative to total shares outstanding confirms that the vast majority of shareholders clearly understand where this is going, and like me, they're not ...more

Rare earths are regarded as strategic resources, which can be used both for military and civilian purposes. China has the largest reserves and is the biggest producer of rare earths, especially heavy rare earth elements, and mineral resources such as molybdenum, tungsten, antimony and magnesium.   Western Magnesium will be in the Global spotlight by the end of 2020 as a magnesium ...more

Good to hear that you are still positive on this, a good sign. I guess the problem for most of the rest of us that only get information from the company or others 'in the know' is that after all these years there isn't anything to show for all the time money and effort so far. Nothing real. Only them always saying the same thing: Western Magnesium's goal is to be a low-cost ...more

KTD, I agree that the lack of news is disheartening since Sam talked of a media rollout. I don't know how much longer they can go before announcing some big news seeing as they only have five months to begin producing magnesium. If you are really concerned about things I found talking to John Ulmer on the phone was soothing some concerns. I actually found some solace in kodaks monster loan ...more

Longshots, a kickstart from government to a struggling junior would certainly be good for both parties. Being dependant on China for almost everything nowadays it would be good for the US to have their own production capabilities, why not start with Magnesium. Who knows, maybe they have already made steps in this direction? Its unfortunate that the Kungflu has thrown a wrench into things but maybe ...more
