The 465,000 $ are part of the 1,000,000 $.

Nevertheless:
Why didn´t  the seller accept Yale shares as payment ?
The whole amount is payable in cash.
Maybe not really unusual, but remarkable.

And:
A propoerty near some kind of  impressive property is not forced to be an impressive property itsself.
This kind of "area play" MAYBE a good thing, but needs not to be.

Yale management is of the opinion that they have to spent 1,000,000 $ for this property.
I hope they know what they are doing.
Personally I would have liked more seeing them spending such an amount on exploring their existing properties.
They already own some really good properties !

I don´t like this deal..

P.S.: I own Yale and I am long on Yale.
