Why isn't village farms into making Cannabis beverages.

First off the Cannabis Drink sector only makes up a very small percentage of total sales for those companies who are into it so at the moment the appeal to get into drinks may be low.  Secondly the overhead to acquire the production equipment is high so there is a barrier to entery for many companies.  The final reason is likely the complexity of actually producing drinks that both taste ...more

The HEXO Corp / Molson Coors JV, Truss Beverages is still producing drinks for the Canadian Market with the US Venture being closed down.  Molson noted that the decision to shutter this operation may be revisited in the future if Market Conditions Improve.  No forward looking statements were provided in terms as to "when" they suspect this may occur.
