$2 CAD per share in cash and no debt

And should add another $200 million CAD in cash for 2024, given todays guidance .

That would mean we exit 2024 with about $4 per share in net cash and no debt.

An excellent investment either to begin paying a dividend or using that cash to acquire more production

I liked this release and I have started to layer back into my old position. Opex guidance of US$26 / bbl vs US$34 / bbl in Q3 2023 is the most intriguing piece of guidance and has been my largest concern. An opex difference of US$8/bbl is a ~C$85mm delta to cash flow which is huge! They wouldn't release a number like this unless they were confident from Q4 results so I am buying what they ...more

Thank you for your analysis , I am a little more optimistic on reserve report and price deck. Other then that agree fully with what you say. The company gave some guidance in they announced the extension of fields to 2030. They also stood firmly on the side of growth which distinquishes them from the pack that are hunting investors and giving out yield as a inducement , this never ends well. I am ...more

Good comments. OPEX was higher in Q3 due to planned work on all these assets (new to VLE) meanwhile Wassana was offline.  Trending much better now. If cash at YE 2024 is projected to be C$3.50 share this story just gets better.  YE reserves will definitely be impacted by infills and optimization. Price deck will impact valuation for sure as will Kris tax offsets if they are useful.  ...more
