I know this is a tough one for BP to swallow but you guys did get a break today with this takeover offer. VTR was in a very tough position as they just didn't have the cash to re-define Kiaka into a viable project in this new gold price environment. VTR shareholders have probably lost the opportunity for a 5 bagger but you probably have a shot at a double from here if you're patient and hang in. BTO are good operators. You also have liquidity if you want to jump ship.

From a more macro point of view it shows there is still a wee bit of a pulse in the WA gold mining sector. We need a few more of these deals to spark some speculative interest in other developers.

yap... my 2.40 block.. is ugly..but I traded around some others and got some down considerably..but I was afraid of this and it happened.. but a red take over for me.. I will stay in and see how and if the sector pans out come the new year.. someone asked to sell or take loss .depends if it is in a cash account maybe take the 100% increase today.. cash out and take the stock loss for tax.. ?  as JD says BTO is very liguid so a guy now has to start watching BTO and start now playing that one I guess and try and get some of ones money back by day trading the heck out of it.. so lots of work for old BP now... lol
