The Company operates several subsidiaries, including Anelia and Bio-Bar in France, Voltalia Guyane, SIG Kourou, SIG Mana and SIG Cacao in French Guyana, Voltalia Energia do Brasil in Brazil, Thegero in Greece and Alterrya Maroc in Morocco, among others. The Company is owned by Voltalia Investissement SA.

I know this is a tough one for BP to swallow but you guys did get a break today with this takeover offer. VTR was in a very tough position as they just didn't have the cash to re-define Kiaka into a viable project in this new gold price environment. VTR shareholders have probably lost the opportunity for a 5 bagger but you probably have a shot at a double from here if you're patient and hang in. BTO are good operators. You also have liquidity if you want to jump ship.

From a more macro point of view it shows there is still a wee bit of a pulse in the WA gold mining sector. We need a few more of these deals to spark some speculative interest in other developers.
