Good day for VOD!

Shares up $1.07 on the worst trading day of the year so far. 15 million shares traded on news they are buying 3 telecoms in Europe (UK and Italy). World leader and still going strong.

Slow mover but div is still great!

They are making good in roads in Africa as well as expanding their presence in Europe. IMO this is an excellent entry position or a chance to increase ones existing holdings.

Dividend yield 8.3%!

Yahoo has a one year price of $24. This is the largest mobile operator in Europe with networks wold-wide and growing. Every portfolio should have some Vodafone IMO.
