Sangdong is covered in God alone knows how many feet of snow, so nothing is happening there, and management is trying to find a way to fund the freaking mine, so they're not chatty . . . 

I imagine no matter what they're doing they've put themselves into a quiet period.  Anytime substantial insider activity (with regard to company business) is takign place the senior execs have to be VERY careful with what they say, essentially saying nothing meaningful until some sort of resolution to the negociations are concluded and shareholder approval or notification is required.
