Deutsche Rohstoff is a 25% owner of Almonty. Here is their perspective on the original Almonty/Woulfe merger.

Thomas Gutschlag, CEO of Deutsche Rohstoff, commented: “Almonty consequently implements its strategy to build the largest tungsten producer outside China. It reaches critical mass to dictate WO3 pricing and/or become a highly attractive acquisition target. Deutsche Rohstoff as Almonty’s second largest shareholder fully supports this strategy and are convinced that our shareholding will gain further value.”

Based upon volfram analysis, I am all for the merger provided that we have a slight premium to the 1:1 share exchange ratio, because our resource is slightly bigger than their combined resources our resource is in one location and not across many we have moly that has to be considered the value of our gold mine (I expect it to be sold off and the uranium to be given away)  Also

Understanding that I invested in this company SOLELY because of their possesion of Sangdong, why would the gold mine and uranium mine simply be written off?  That HARDLY makes any darn sense!  In fact I'd have hired a dozen geology undergrads and a supervising professor to scour Muguk looking for a way to exploint the resources within, if not pinpoint concentrations worth immediate ...more

You misunderstand........ Almonty is in the tungsten business. I don't see them expanding into other metals, hence they will most likely sell them off. They should make some money from Muguk, however when they sell the uranium mines and you calculate the return per share,I expect fractions of a cent return with all the dilution. Therefore there isn't much difference between giving it ...more
