good to see officers and CFO  buying here,   there is going to be a healthy bounce off the bottom and  likely now would be a good entry point    quick cash or longer term   both  are in play   and that huge dividend cannot be  ignored , if oil/gas start an upward trend  before they have to visit a div cut   people will be falling over themself for this yield

I can't enter now... If I missed the rocket bounce that sucks but if overproduction was the issue, nothing has changed. Tankers and warehouses full of oil, us inventories +5m reported yesterday, rig counts not down significantly, no one cutting production. I'm hoping this bounce is temporary... I want to take first tranche entries to several hidden energy gems this week... looks like a ...more

The insider buying in LRE is solid to say the least.   Other companies have insider buying activity too, but LRE seems to be near the head of the pack.    It certainly looks like the insiders are buying all they can afford - betting against the insiders is akin to betting against the Fed............

@99999gold, are you thinking of playing this on the long side for the divi???

I see that there's a new bagholder in town... let me guess you got in at 1.15-20 and hoping to double your money. The 200 DMA is on the trajectory to 2.50 that must be what you mean otherwise you're reading the chart wrong...  But humour me, do tell why/how it would get to 2.50. Did the company manage to wiped that huge debt load 700m? has the company sold an asset? Did the ...more

I still believe in one more hard run down. If we're talking charts, here are two charts that are worth a look. WTI 2 year weekly and WTI 19 year Wave as low as $20.  Charts are only charts but I'd say there is def enough "stuff" in "totality" related to oil dynamics/supply/demand/politics/etc that make sense for $35 oil.  Energy stocks could fall another 25 ...more

I showed you a long term chart with TA. I haven't seen your long term chart and notes so I can't dechipher whether you are posting garbage because I don't know what you're looking at. I've only shared a chart from BMR with 2yr weekly and 19yr. You can take what you want from it. No one can categorically be right or wrong at this point. Here is what I know.  At 50 dollar oil no one makes money. Shale oil production is still increasing because thats what it does for the first year. Then it drops 50%. Decline rates happen to all oil and gas companies, most are around 20 to 30%. So now we have 0 CF banks are not going to lend anymore money and the oil companies can't drill because lack of funding. And why would they when ...more

let's be clear you just got back your money today but yes we will see in the end who's right or wrong with making calls.  A lot of people here are in for higher. so just to be clear my call is for LRE to trade down to $1 as I'm short it from the levels I mentioned. I covered a portion and have one last tranch that I'm planning to cover either at 1 or 99c - stop losses will ...more

Hey Bigbird I agree with a some of the others on encouraging you to keep posting. It's refreshing to hear someone being both positive and polite. Guys like 999gold make me want to puke with their arrogance and rudeness. Ciao Sarge
Comment by 99999gold on Jan 17, 2015 1:56pm
you can accuse me of arrogance but never rude - show me one comment I made that is rude? oh you must mean when I say "bagholders" I should've said "investors" - is that what you mean? ok I take back bagholders, I meant and from now on I'll state investors.

bruh - go back to my posts and get the story right. But to summarize for you and because you're new to stockhouse before the bottom on this fell out, I told this board to start selling and buy it back lower to reduce risk, saving capital and having twice as much stock of the company. In typical "investor" respond that oil has bottom and LRE should be at 5 blah blah blah.  I ...more
