RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:5i's Q & A

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:5i's Q & AYou are mostly correct on Hodson retiredcf, before his 5i days he was one of canada's top small cap experts and very highly regarded, his funds were almost always at the very top performance wise.

I joined 5i soon after he started it and they gave great advice, however, they morfed over the years and turned into nothing more than momentum players and gave absolutely brutal advice and answers to questions, I didn't renew my membership last spring as I found absolutely nothing to gain from listening to them. on a typical question on 2 companies, 1 could have say 25% plus lower multiples and both have the same fundamentals and growth prospects but the other had a larger market cap they would almost always pick the one with the larger market cap regardless (this 2 large cap companies) . they also would recommend stocks on huge runs that were so overvalued it was crazy stupid, but as soon as they dropped for whatever reason people would ask should I buy and they would back off and not recommend buying even thoughtthe multiples became much lower with same fundamentals, absolutely nothing but a bunch of momo goofs now imho.

cheers ferret
