Positive Cardium Well Results at Ferrier
Event: Based on updated public monthly production data for February 2024, we are highlighting two positive well results for YGR: its 13-12 and 14-12 Ferrier Cardium wells. These wells both came on stream in February 2024, with the 13-12 producing for 575 monthly hours and the 14-12 well producing for 539 hours. Combined, these two wells add 1,937 boe/d of new production relative to a Q4/23 production base of 11,133 boe/d. As a result, we believe that these wells should help stabilize the Company’s production levels despite the pullback in capex for 2024, especially in H1/24. At the same time, the additional volumes should allow quarterly numbers to meet or potentially exceed current Q1/24 expectations of 11.1 mboe/d. These two wells were drilled in the Ferrier area, which is where the Company has some of its best wells. The laterals were also longer with lateral lengths of 2,800-2,900m. The combination of the core location, along with the longer laterals, contributed to the solid production
