Made a call. Had a chat with IR. Pushed has for an answer as to why the SP went up 20% on much larger volume than usual. Plus the fact that volume has been kind of crazy for three days on the U.S ...more

I happen to own both Fury and Hecla.Something interesting has happened in the last few days ,Fury has gone up and Hecla down .Seems to me Mr Market is predicting a paper takeover of Fury by Hecla ...more

The reason

Whatever it is, FURY was in play again today. There was much larger than normal volume on both sides of the border. The SP was up again in spite of a down day all around. I could not find a news item ...more

Tim Clark did indicate that they were looking to partner up with someone to help explore CB. Could this be a way for Hecla to swoop in to get get 30-40% of Fury for X$ (netting them another 15-20M of ...more

Fury

The total value of Fury is currently around 60million Canadian ,so a takeover would not be expensive for Hecla.Dolly is a big silver project ,its an existing mine (closed)in a safe jurisdiction   ...more

Hi , (sorry for my EN ) ok - but why buy whole Fury ? thay can only buy these 22% shares from Fury for let say 2 or3 bucks. ? what is the point ?

Agreed. In fact, Hecla (after its latest investment in DV) now owns 15.6% of Dolly Varden, so combined with Fury 22% (after dillution from Hecla investment, down from 23%) would own a combined 37.6 ...more

It would in fact be a smart move by Hecla.They have in the past tried to take over Dolly but were rejected.If they took over Fury it would give them effective control with about 33% of the shares of ...more
