RE:DFN unit nav to July 11 = approx: $15.17

I recall some time ago that you posted on how much free cash Quadravest had in hand!  Is there somewhere on their site where this is published?  If so does it have a month to month breakdown ...more

DFN unit nav to July 11 = approx: $15.17

RE:RE:The power of being contrarian

Ya my comment was specific to DFN, not about the banks and which I own (FFN prefs, BK). Markets could very well pull back 5-10% any time and we'd still be ok... just a well needed correction. DFN, ...more

RE:RE:RE:37 days of S&P record highs...

For me, it is about shorting it on the way down and buying it on the way up. As others have noted, these split corps are self consuming with respect to the NAV. Now if the TSX goes on a run, then ...more

Sometime in the next 6 months I will buy DFN for less than $4.

I bet few here, maybe next to none, hold BBD or would even think of buying. In fact, I can even hear the scoffs when I just mention that name. The hate is deep. I bought it unloved and today my ...more
