Both Aura and Rio are thinly traded.  By the time you sell one at the bid and buy the other at the ask, you will pretty much lose 15% anyway.  I think that will all change when this company ...more

Obviously that is correct, but if you think the deal goes through, you can make an extra 15% if you sell your ORA to buy RN at these prices.

You are not getting 12.7 cents in cash per share in the merger. You are getting ownership in a combined company that will be able to actually develop Rio's properties. That will finally unlock the ...more

At current ORA price, RN is worth 12.7 cents. Stock would be probably be 12.5 cents right now if people weren’t worried about the vote. Maybe after the conference call on Jan 10 the worries will abate ...more

You should base it on the exchange ratio which yields 11.7 cents for RN based on the ORA share price. You should also consider what the combined company will be worth and how else RN would be able to ...more

Metalsguy, before you make your desision, take a close look at Aura. Aura is an extreme value stock trading at a P/E around 3, and it has 50M in cash. In many respects, it is a better value than Rio ...more
