I think that Morguard is on the board of TPH and has a duty to its shareholders so they could not take the approach you outline. All imho.

....well ok, bankruptcy may be too harsh a word, really a forced liquidation at the control of creditors, not debenture holders, they will be asked to extend the maturity date, not really much choice, ...more

I have been forced into "long" positions on several oil stocks, US, CDN and foreign, for example BEX, BTE, and BNK, however I believe they can weather the wait for 4-6 years, my estimation ...more
