If shares in companies that do these reverse splits normally do very poorly afterwards then why would the company even consider doing one? How would that be condusive to share price appreciation

DB has a $140 million stake in YNG and owns a bunch of shares, so they have a vested interest in seeing the SP move higher and for the company to do well. What's up is anybody's guess, but the
