RE:End Game

What is the process for switching all shares to Innergex? Is the changeover to Innergex considered a sell and a buy? If so, is a capital gains triggered on the sale of Alterra shares? Thanks.

Final AXY Dividend Thought

It appears as if AXY and INE are trading hand-in-hand (doesn't mean it will stay that way). My thought is to reinvest the AXY dividend in INE.  Then I should be lined up to receive the ...more

RE:RE:AXY's Shareholders' New Dividend Yield

You are only guaranteed that the value was $8.25 when the deal was made. Did anyone watch  the buyout of ICG (which I think will be nothing like this one)? That deal was valued around 500M when ...more

First, the vote for AXY shareholders in December. Then, most likely new shares (treated as a tax free merger I am assuming) soon there after (assuming early 2018). It appears as if the INE dividends ...more

RJ is terrified. Stupid people are everywhere.

Will the new INE/AXY add additional green companies?

A couple canidates that I own are Polaris Infratructure PIF(CA)/RAMPF(US) and US Geothermal HTM, US only. Both profitable but Polaris pays nice dividend.  Both are geothermal pure plays, so great ...more

RE:RE:RE:AXY's Shareholders' New Dividend Yield

My understanding is $8.25(all CAD) is the amount based on 27 Oct 2017 prices of $5.21AXY and $14.83INE.  AXY shareholders will get 0.5563 shares by default unless the shareholder requests the $2 ...more
