Do you need to do anything with the ELY shares or will it auto convert when the deal is finalized? What will happen? Are they going to convert it to the GROY shares on the NYSE??

Value of an ELY share

If the deal closes, ELY shares can be traded for 0.2450 GROY shares. At today's closing price for GROY of $6.66 USD, the value of an ELY share in CAD is 0.2450 x 6.66 x 1.23 = $2.00 CAD

Nah I can't buy that. Too much volume. Almost 30 million shares traded since announcement and not much price movement? Add in the 40% move in GROY. TOO WEIRD.

IMHO, the big guys are manouevring to keep a lid on ELY share price so most of the small investors will sell, by fear of something fishy, at a lower price than the offer. Who wants to buy ELY at ...more
