RE:What will it mean for the VOTE if a Gamestop moment

The shorts have no incentive to cover over $40.50. They would just pay out the amount to whoever they borrowed the share from at the time of closing.

What will it mean for the VOTE if a Gamestop moment

So what happens to the SHORTS and SHARE PRICE

if $40.50 deal is green lit?  Will everyone sell at ~$40.50 to the Shorts or will the share price rocket way way past $40.50????   All just my opinion/view/thinking/wondering.

RE:RE:RE:$$$$ getting paid CASH/Dividend holding until $40.50

As mentioned, there is a bull case and in a bear case, either way it still pays dividend.  This in short term will be less volatile then the current market. If you think there is no accumulation ...more

Don't dream, if it's easy money, why institutes are not buying them now. Next day when you wake up, the story will change.

RE:RE:RE:Merger

From what I've read, it's Rogers problem to sell the assets that they couldn't keep (due to regulation), not the other way around, so it shouldn't affect the buyout price.

Given the market volatility and the bond bear.  This is a God send.  I will slowly put more of my portfolio in this before it hit the share price the ceiling to hedge against the market ...more

Fact probably is, if it wasn't for the government

interferring in Free Market,  Shaw's shares would be worth way way way much more.  There would be a Bidding War for Shaw.   All just my opinion/view/thinking.

RE:RE:RE:Merger

I'm guessing that Shaw Shareholders will get $40.50 and if any thing the government wants done to allow the transaction, that will be on Rogers to do it.   Shaw shareholders will get $40 ...more
