Unfortunately, the TSX doesn't break out real and synthetic short positions. Most of the short positions are synthetic and part of a derivative-In other words, they are not real.

the short interest reported is not real-it is part of a synthetic derivative of some kind. The real short position is probably less than 200,000 shares.....It would be better if the exchange ...more
