Hi imho, if you calculate the exchange ratio on the initial February announcement date, it would equate to 48 shares of ATAC per share of Hecla.  Let's just round it and call it 0.02 share of ...more

HL up over 4% today

That brings the value of the share exchange (.0166 HL + .1 of Cascadia IPO share)  to .19c CAD or .14c USD.

Agreed that Cascadia may have an easier go than did Rackla given the mix of jurisdictions the spinoff will be involved in. I have no problems with Hecla per se, they are making inroads into the Yukon ...more
