That will increase the  inflation rate as more home owners renew their mortgage. The BoC uses mortgage interest when computing the "shelter" inflation component of the CPI or better yet ...more

Complete inverse V shape from the summer rally.   The pivot party fed cut trade was the biggest backfire in history.  just do not want to unwind this narrative

Yields going into another BOC cut

Yield on reits moved up 50bp to 100bp depending on the REIT, while the overnighit rate comes down 25bp.   that is some insane BS if i ever seen it

Just did the tire change yesterday it was $79+ tax.     Live in Calgary .. but that's still up .....  it was a few years ago as I could've swore it was $59..  Always no ...more

  Mr lube is charging $98 plus tax for a winter tire change.  Last season it was $69 plus tax. What is that in terms of inflation percentage?  That's a 42% inflation rate ...more
