Copper looks goodDJ MARKET TALK: Economic Data Supportive For Comex Copper
1549 GMT [Dow Jones] - Comex copper is stronger as U.S. economic data remains
supportive, including Tuesday morning's stronger-than-forecast retail sales,
says Bill O'Neill, one of the principals with LOGIC Advisors. "Demand in the
U.S. still looks pretty good," says the analyst. "Funds continue to like the
market and buy the dips. I think one thing impressive is the market has held
reasonably well considering the sell-off in gold." Another contact has
suggested the recent pullback in prices drew bargain-hunting interest. March
copper is up 270 points to $2.2610 a pound. (ALS
