The President of Mongolia N.Enkhbayar received Mr. James Adams, the Vise-President of the World Bank.
The President thanked for the World Bank’s decision and he talked that the investment of mining manufacture is necessary for not only buying equipment but also reviving and protecting the environment. And he expressed, he hopes, that it will be paid attention and assist for reducing water shortage and increasing its resource.
The World Banks’ Vise-President promised to research the President’s idea for issue of the water shortage and he expressed, he supports is as principle.
Also, representatives led by Fred Palmer, the Head President of “Peabody” of the USA, called on the President and they exchanged views about issues of investment and cooperation for the mineral sector, particularly big coal fields.
Mr. Fred Palmer expressed, he is interested in investing to Mongolia that is rich with the mineral and coal resource and cooperating with mutual advantage.
