But to pay for the LOANS he took to put more money in, he now has to sell some shares. Period, end of story. Speculate all you want, but that is what is happening now.
If you believe that these amazing properties will not get any financing at all, even at these comical valuation levels, than sell here. And remember it doesn't take a lot of money to keep things going.
