In NAG’s NR today, the additional 154 CD Permits represent appr. 13 townships, but compare with the October 15, 2008 Map, I could only count about 10 more townships.
With reference to the original KEX map, the additional permit areas cover 1.5 township identified as Red Earth adjoining the east border of WER (which contains the 18m coal intercept), and 3.5 townships (also NAG’s ?) immediately east of Red Earth. 4 townships identified as Nipawin and Carrot (S-SW of WER and across Tobin Lake) are also covered.
Red Earth, Nipawin and Carrot were coloured the same as Adamas on KEX map.
NAG indicated it staked East and West of WER properties and received "first priority" status in NR dated June 24, 2008:
"North American Gem Inc. has also received First Priority "Comfort letters" on its Coal Permits Applications bordering the east and west of the Weststar Resources Corp. (TSX-V symbol: WER) potential position. North American Gem Inc. has been advised that it has Second Priority on Weststar Resources potential position."
