IMO This Sell Off Was Planned

My guess is that the Brokers covering Arcan who hold substantial positions orchestrated the initial sell-off, and then let the distressed & fearful investors do the rest of the damage.  Once the shares hit rock bottom those same Brokers scoop up all the low-hanging fruit for a song.  Then when the 'pigs at the trough' have their fill they start buying even more shares sending the SP back up to what they consider to be a respectable level.  Then they proceed to make a whole lot of money by selling all the shares back into the strength that they artificially created.  

It wouldn't surprise me either if Arcan Mgmt knew about the plan.  The proof in the pudding is if we see  the SP start to bounce back prior to the AGM, which would be a condition by Mgmt so they would not be facing hostile investors at the meeting.

It happens all the time.
