It would be highly irrational trading to discount a stock by over 20% (since early last month, when it already was low) on the possibility its dividend might be cut even by 10% (to 2%+ at today's valuation). Analysts see earnings growing over 30% from 2012 to 2013, yet IBG's forward PE for 2012 is now less than 9. There's a lot of extremely pessimistic - against the analysts' grain - money driving the SP down, and if that money is right, heavily exposed longs like me will be taken to the cleaners tomorrow.
