RE:RE:Message CEO Well put. The company needs direction by someone who is motivated as an owner/proprietor. Scott is not this person. He is a consultant who was hired for the job because he is based in Tanzania and has the required background.. I am sure he is currently off somewhere working for clients in order to pay his household bills. The previous chairman, also experienced in the country, spent all his time in Brazil engineering a major catastrophe. We derived nothing evicent from the association with this person
We have a property on which hoards of local have been gouging out high grade gold from outcrops for at least 25 years. Aggregate length of these outcrops is several kilometres. We don't need 'resource modellers'. We know where the gold is. We know money can be made from mining it. We know what the stuff looks like and how it behaves metallurgically. That is, the locals seem to know. Treating their waste heaps through a primitive plant would likely be profitable. We don't need miles of reverse circulation drilling (RC) to find more veins when we have so many exposed already.
It is essential to get underground in order to see what the veins look like in solid rock. This can be done either with small shafts using lots of local labour, or by decline on the structures. This work will have to be financed. It might be possible to raise money through royalty companies without issuing shares. The alternative is to re-capitalize the company yet again with a better motivated and infomred board.
We need someone to break into a board meeting and say, as Oliver Cromwell did to the English paliament 350 years ago "you have sat too long, for God's sake - go". Any volunteers?.
