Not sure about this, but both companies might have missed estimates. The merger might have come out as a surprise and a good time to distract from the misses.
However, the synergies of the future look strong and I am very tempted to purchase INE shares since they are in a correction from their 52 week high and about to yiled 5%.
INE over the next year has a lot of work to refinance AXY loans to lower rates. It surprises me how many times INE has mentioned the very high rate of the Beaty loan...and the AXY issue of "cost of capital " as a performance issue...hmmm; see my Thank You and You Are Welcome post from a year or so ago.
AXY pipeline sounds good, mold that in with INE and better financing and, yet again more paitence...but this time a nice dividend to pay for the paitence...
