Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

The aresenic is a real factor in the Cobalt camp. But investors on the cobalt bandwagon bubble are not aware of that. My biggest concenr in the Cobalt camp is the fact that it wll be very hard to put together any real resources. The mineralization occurs in very narrow veins with very short strike lengths. The past mines took out super high grade silver, But here were no large mines ever in the Cobalt camp.  But lots of very small developments chasing  these erratic, narrow vein sets.

For that reason, you are not going to see a 43-101 resource estimate from FCC in a very long time. Just BS surface sampling, Some high grades in a few drill holes and now this met testing - which is not being conducted and on core. But from dumps and waste piles. That is insane folks. You do met test work on representative samples of mineralization from fresh core.
