Lorne Creek on the Lucky Strike property

Lorne Creek on the Lucky Strike propertyA little digging on Lorne Creek surprised me with the amount of information on the web. Gold was discovered there in 1884. This was part of the "gold rush days" of the 1880's. Around 13,000 ounces were panned out of the creek in a 20 year period. Not much work was done to find out where the gold was comming from as I guess it was easy to just stand in the creek and maybe get rich. The area then froze up for the next 50 or 60 years. The area opened up again around 10 years ago , (global warming ?) and now once again the race is on to find the gold.
So GOT knows the area has gold , and I think they are going to concentrate on this area this comming drilling season. With modern technology and some luck....who knows. Seems like a good spec buy , but I'm biased , I own lots.
