Hahahaha .... a financial advisor is the last place I would look to for advice right now. They will
never tell you to short FTN or buy HFD.
Unfortunately most average Canadians are holding mutual funds. Your financial advisor is very likely to tell you it's too late or too expensive to get out. He'll tell you to hold tight and ride out the storm.
