Do you think the sevral hundred thousand dollars they got for bonus was a good use of company money?  


It isn't all that abnormal in my experience to use bonuses to represent a compensation milestone, and presumably they're using a self owned corporation to manage their personal tax burdens, which is also reasonably common. Using company money for executive compensation is also normal of course, assuming the amounts are reasonable.  

I don't like the optics of it coming out in financials with no other disclosures around use (that I could find anyway), but amounts should be compared to previous year compensation and not evaluated in a vacuum. 

I will admit I haven't gone back to when they first took the roles to see how they compensated themselves from the very beginning, but the amounts of these bonuses don't feel egregious to me considering many startup executives take pay cuts leading up to profitability, and this is probably the case here too.

Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion and hopefully all of us shareholders see some steady gains in the coming year.
