RE:Back to the News release! I'm more interested in this statement "Gatekeeper has installed more than 34,000 intelligent mobile data collectors and 100,000 video devices on school buses, for over 3,500 school district customers."
Does anyone know if they mentioned a total in an earlier news release? Could be great for figuring out how fast they're capturing this niche market.
DD mentioned in an earlier interview that the average citation was between $250 to $500 USD. I'm not sure which of "34,000" or "100,000" refer to the stop arm cameras. Let's assume it's the 34,000 stop arm cameras just to be conservative (?). And let's say GSI.V collects 50% of the revenue on $250. I'm not sure about 1 ticket per camera per day since that sounds too lucrative, so let's say 1 ticket per 2 weeks just be *even* more conservative, also because of summer break.. so 26 tickets per camera annually? $110 million annual revenue from school buses alone?? $55 million annual revenue if it's 1 ticket/month instead.
I must be doing something wrong since that sounds too good to be true lol, anyone wanna chime in with a more accurate analysis?
