If you are expecting a steep recession, you probably shouldn't buy any stock. Maybe a utility.

Right now Canada and US unemployment is near record low, the airport in Toronto can't handle the volume of people who want to travel, corporate balance sheets are solid, personal savings is high...I just don't see a steep recession.
