RE:Why don Tilray insiders buy Tilray shares? He I explained the insider ownership with Tilray. Many of the founders devested moved on after the Hindenburg report. So when Irwin simon came in 2019 unlike founders of other companies (who acquired shares in the penny range or free as the underwriters drew up the  paperwork before it went public) Irwin has to buy his or earn them through milestones. Tilray is a massive company it's not easy for people individuals non hedge funds to acquire a meaningful percentage if they weren't the original founders. Institutional ownership is growing in Tilray BlackRock upped its stake among others. Google it plus Irwin Simon and board members take much of their pay in shares steadily growing their insider share. I'm sure they will acquire more
