Why central bankers are cautious of raising ratesOne trick poney, they know it may not even work. Did the last 2 hikes work, doesnt look like it with the big jump in headline CPI. Imagine getting real rates positive and 5% while inflation is 3.xx% then being like "oops" inflation is going back up. Creating stress in housing market, banks and soon to be government debt spirals.
Hard landing or inflation persisting above target or they manipulate the data to give a few bullish months. Thats how I see it
