RE:Garbage

RE:GarbageBecause no one can time a market, to be a contrarian investor you need to withstand a lot of pain, sometimes years.

I held Bombardier for over 4 years before it started paying off. It wasn't easy and at one point I felt like my investment was going to zero. But today my position is paying off and it's only getting started. How do I know?

I will ask the question here... how many people would buy BBD and I bet it will be zero. Why? Because it's still hated to core. I will sell when people start saying "Hey, you should buy some BBD".

The process will be the same for REITs. There is no love now and it will be hated even when rates begin their decline. Patience is needed. A lot of patience. To quote Charlie Munger...

"The big money is not in the buying or the selling, but in the waiting".
