RE:NVA vs Kelt

RE:NVA vs KeltI owned NVA for a long time, and sold it off recently.

I like the Management of NVA, but i don't like their resource that much and the team has done a great job to get the most out of a marginal resource.

NVA sold their shareholders down the road, acquiring the pipestone asset in 2018, and the company almost went bankrupt.

That Pipestone asset coming into production was the turnaround story for NVA. An asset less liquids rich than Kelts wembley/pipestone and about 1/3 the size.

Kelt in my opinion has better assets, NVA is quite gassy, but they have ramped up production nicely.

NVA did not buyback any shares until they got to the point that their infastructure was pretty full, and their debt was under control. They have not been buying back shares that long.

One of my long term holds POU, that never buy back shares, instead of buying their own stock they bought 37.2 million shares of NVA at around 60 cents a 20 bagger, a lot better than any share buyback would of accomplished. They sold some of their NVA share but still have 32 million of them valued at more than 400 million dollars on their balance sheet.

Sharebuybacks are  a dull tool for an inexperienced management team in my opinion.
